Organic Hemp Seed Pesto

A super easy, five minute Hemp Seed Pesto. Organic Hemp Seeds are filled with Omega 3 and 6, protein, and the rare Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA). You can make this a vegan or paleo treat as well, simply by omitting the cheese, or including a vegan alternative instead. This spread is great to enjoy on pasta, crackers, or as a dip for your favorite vegetables!

Makes About 1 Cup


  • 1 Large Bunch
    Organic Basil (About 2 Cups)
  • 3/4 Cups
    ECO Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Juice & Zest
    of an Organic Lemon
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Diced Organic Garlic, or to taste
  • 1/2 Cup
    ECO Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup
    Parmesan cheese (optional)


  1. In a food processor blend hemp seed, basil, garlic, lemon juice and zest.

  2. Pour in olive oil while pulsing until well incorporated.

  3. Add cheese and pulse for 15-20 seconds.

  4. You can add more or less olive oil to achieve desired consistency.
