Milled chia looks like a light grey to brown powder. It is cold-milled from organic chia seeds and will retain moisture when combined with liquid to create a gel. The gel can be added to soups, cereals, or even as a substitution for eggs in baking or pectin in jam. Milled Chia is also a great addition to baked goods as a gluten free flour substitute, or sprinkled on granola, cereal, or superfood bars.

Most chia is grown and produced in Mexico or South America. Our supply can vary, but most often originates from Mexico or Paraguay. Our seeds are cold-processed into milled chia in the USA.
