Coconut Flour

Our Coconut Flour is derived straight from the meat of the coconut. The meat of the coconut is dried, shredded, and pressed to remove the raw coconut oil. Coconut Flour is off-white in color and has a nut-like flavor that is prominent in palm fruit. It is a great way to add fiber and coconut flavor to baked goods and can be used as a partial replacement in any recipe calling for regular flour.

Ingredients: Organic Coconut Flour

Coconut Flour is naturally gluten free, making it a convenient substitute for traditional wheat flour for those sensitive to gluten.

For baking and cooking, substitute 10—30% of regular flour for coconut flour, or blend with other gluten free flours. Some recipes can be made with 100% coconut flour, however it can be dry and absorb moisture, so it may be necessary to include additional liquid and sometimes eggs to recipes when including it.
