What is Organic?
Certified organic agriculture produces products using methods that preserve the environment and avoid synthetic materials, such as pesticides and antibiotics. Our organic farmers and suppliers adhere to USDA organic standards and undergo annual review to maintain their certified organic status.
Organic farmers and food processors follow a defined set of standards to produce organic food and fiber. These standards cover the product from farm to table, including soil and water quality, pest control, livestock practices, and rules for food additives.
To Earth Circle Organics our definition of organic goes even further. All of our products are certified to 95% Organic, and many of our products are certified 100% Organic. We believe that organic, sustainable agriculture supports small family farms, preserves natural resources and biodiversity, and supports the health and welfare of our planet as a whole! From our farms to the world’s tables, we bring you the best organic and all-natural superfood ingredients we can find.
What is your definition of Raw Food?
Raw foods are those that retain their powerful natural nutrients, enzymes, vitamins and minerals since they are minimally handled, and never heated above 118 °F. There is no federal standard or certification for raw, but the industry standard includes maintaining natural temperatures for the food throughout the supply chain, never freezing, and growing without the use of GMOs, irradiation, processing aids or preservatives.
Which of your products are Gluten free?
Many of our products are gluten free naturally. All of our dried fruits and most of our powders are naturally gluten free and we feature gluten free coconut flour for baking.

What is the concentration of the Grass Juice Powders?
Our grass juice powders – Barley, Wheatgrass, and Alfalfa – are concentrated, nutrient dense superfoods created from juicing large quantities of young grasses and spray drying. Each pound of finished, dried grass juice powder is created from 24 gallons of fresh juice.
Do your products require refrigeration?
Some of our packages indicate ‘Keep Refrigerated’ as a recommendation for storage after opening,
mostly as a precaution. For example, our organic hemp protein powder does not have to be refrigerated, but after the package is open storing it in a cool dry place such as the refrigerator helps to extend the powder’s shelf life, especially if you do not use the powder within a few months. You can also keep the powder in a cool, dry cupboard in an air-tight container and achieve similar results. We can assure you that the health food store was storing the package completely properly.
Is your Chlorella Powder split-cell wall?
Yes! Chlorella cells must be split-cell wall to provide maximum nutrient absorption. Through a unique patented process, the cell wall of our organic chlorella is shattered through use of ultra sound technology instead of milling or crushing, providing customers with a truly amazing and pure product.
